The Method
My approach is a little different.
I do all the usual things: I design your site, set up SEO, help you with content decisions.
But I also understand that you are probably not a web designer and this process can be different. I will walk you through all the different elements and help you along the way. I'm here for questions, ideas and guidance.
Design
I'll work with you to create a design you are excited about, something that reflects your intentions.
Read
I will take the copy (the words you write) and I'll read through it. I make suggestions, give ideas and help you express yourself clearly.
Optimize
I fine tune your site to be Optimized for Search Engines (SEO). I do a little bit of magic behind the scenes as well as help to dial in your content.
Listen
I get myself out of the way to hear what YOU want in your site. I promise I won't take it personally if something needs to change!
Guide
I will not only guide you through the design of your site, but I'm also happy to help you understand the whole process. No question to small, I promise!
Calm
Creating a website can feel daunting. I will be available to help you adjust the process so that it feels doable, not overwhelming.
The Timeline
How we go through the process of making a website.
Discover / Kickoff
If you are ready to get started, we'll launch from the discovery meeting into the Kickoff meeting. But if you need more time, we'll set this up as two different meeting.
Samples Chat

Final Sample
During this meeting, we go through the consolidated single sample. This is the foundation of the site. We'll discuss this, and then I will begin by

Ensuring that your website draws in the people who could use what you're sharing is part of the process. And creating a website that is effortless to navigate is something I strive to do. Your website should be inviting and logical along with sharing your vision.
Guide
Finding a website designer isn't that hard. Finding one you connect with that will guide you through the process in a clear, open, understandable manner is much harder. I can not only do that, but I can also bring an atmosphere of calm even when things feel overwhelming.

How It Works
Having a clear idea of how your site gets put together can give you a good feel for how long it will take. During every step of the process, we talk about the design, the content and the overall feel of the site. This allows you to walk away with something you feel proud of and excited about.

Discover/Kickoff
During this call, or these calls, we will discuss what you're looking for, how large your site would need to be and what style you are going for. We lay out the groundwork and expectation for your website.

Dialing in the Design
After I get a feel for your site, I'll create 3 samples. We will go through those and play the "love it/hate it" game with the different parts of each sample. I take that feedback and we get started on your site. Over the next few meetings we get the home page to 90%, talking about each iteration, and start on the other pages (if you have more than one).

Finalizing Your Site
As we get the information on your site, we will discuss it all, I will start getting it ready to look good on mobile devices, we make sure it all flows nicely and works properly. I always suggest you have friends, family and others look at it for feedback. And then we launch
